Floyd E. Dominy (1909-2010 ) was appointed Commmissioner of the United States Bureau of Reclamation in 1959 by President Eisenhower, and was continually reappointed to that position until his retirement in 1969. He had served in other Bureau of Reclamation capacities since 1946 and prior to that had worked as a field representative with the Agricultural Adjustment Administration (1938-1942).
